Its magical properties are said to have been inspired by the hallucinogenic effect of the fly agaric mushroom, the one that is red with white dots on its head.

The main psychoactive chemical compounds in fly agaric are ibotenic acid and muscimol, which are mostly contained in the cap. They mimic the neurotransmitters in the brain and result in a feeling of a dreamy state.

Do you Offer Refunds

As per our terms and conditions we do not offer refunds one any of our programs once the program has begun. Only under extenuating or unforeseeable circumstances will refunds be offered. These including but not limited to: death, serious injury or illness, natural disaster, bereavement.

What Does this retreat include

This retreat includes 1 night shared accommodation, Sacred Shroom Ceremony, other Plant Based Medicine Ceremonies, fully catered, with options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free available (Please advise upon enrolment if you have any other intolerances.)

What if there are changes to the event time/dayplace?

We will work closely with the retreat space to ensure these dates & times go ahead, however if for any reason the retreat centre decides to change our booking, we will let you know as soon as possible and discuss options for transferral of this event to an upcoming event space.

What are the medicine conditions i should be aware of in attending this ceremony

Do not use with:

Benzodiazepine, Alcohol, Ambien, Lyric, Cannabis

If you are on any medication that hits the Gabba Pathways as its like you doubling up on them as they all boost the same pathways, this is a caution when mixing man made things with Aminta Mascaria.

Contraindiction

Amanita Mascaria when its is responsibly administered it is completely safe. There are very few people who cannot take it but this is no an exhaustive list so please let us know beforehand if you have serious health problems. Treatment cannot be given to those who are or have had:

Under the age of 18 • Cardiovascular problems • High/Low or abnormal blood pressure • History of aneurisms • Epilepsy or history of seizures • Anyone on heavy medication • Severe psychiatric symptoms, particularly psychosis or paranoia • Bipolar depression • Undergoing Chemotherapy • Recent surgery • Glaucoma • Pregnancy • An active addiction • Any person with mental illness who isn’t in treatment or lacks adequate support • You must inform me if you have ever or you are currently suffering from mental health condition regardless of whether or not your are taking medication • If you have had a COVID vaccine, have at least 3 weeks break before joining a ceremony •
